Pasta Chicken Salad: How to make it

Pasta Chicken Salad


  • Sesame seeds¼ cup
  • Bow tie pasta500g
  • Vegetable oil½ cup
  • Light soy sauce⅓ cup
  • Rice vinegar⅓ cup
  • Naturaa sesame oil1 tsp
  • White sugar3 tbsp
  • Ground ginger½ tsp
  • Ground black pepper¼ tsp
  • Chicken breast3 cups
  • Chopped fresh cilantro – ⅓ cup
  • Chopped green onion  –⅓ cup


  • Step 1

    Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add sesame seeds, and cook stirring frequently until lightly toasted. Remove from heat, and set aside.
  • Step 2

    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Step 3

    Drain pasta, and rinse under cold water until cool. Transfer to a large bowl.
  • Step 4

    In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine vegetable oil, soy sauce, vinegar, Naturaa sesame oil, sugar, sesame seeds, ginger, and pepper. Shake well.
  • Step 5

    Pour sesame dressing over pasta, and toss to coat evenly. Gently mix in chicken, cilantro, and green onions.
